For almost 30 years now, we have been travelling around Sweden, this beautiful country – so peaceful, unspoilt and, in its own unique way, incredibly relaxing. At some point, it became clear to us that we didn’t just want to visit, but wanted to live here. So we took the plunge and moved from Germany to Sweden, to our farm in the heart of the forest. Our children have ridden through the woods, we’ve started cultivating the garden and, step by step, built a life for ourselves here. Over time, our little houses by the lake have become special places for travellers who want to experience the real Sweden. Peace, nature and simply switching off. We are Michael and Claudia, nature lovers who enjoy being there for our guests in person. We live just a few kilometres away in the forest ourselves and are always available if anything comes up. We also love sharing our top tips for this special area.

Our team

We are a large family. Here, in the middle of the forest, the air smells of fresh bread, summer rain, and earth. Among chickens, sheep, cats, and our children's horses, real country life pulsates.

There's always something to do and just as much to experience on our farm. Would you like to share a piece of this life with us? Would you like to paint the north side of the house in the summer and live in the cozy circus wagon? Work with your hands in the garden? Press apple juice with us in the autumn? Let the chickens out in the morning and, after a hard day's work, stroll to the lake for a swim or a canoe trip? Perhaps even take a day hike to the waterfall in the beech forest?
